Houji-cha flavored Panna Cotta!

I made a Houji-cha flavored Panna Cotta! The hint of Houji-cha was perfectly matched with a creamy panna cotta. It's very easy and good to served with after both Japanese and Italian food!
The Houji-cha flavored sweets are very popular in Japan now!!

Ingredients (serving for 4)

1 1/3 cup milk
0.17 ounce envelope unflavored gelatin (2 tablespoons of water)
3/4 cup heavy cream
1.05 ounce white suger
0.7 ounce loose Houji-cha tea leaves

Directions (cook time-10min.)
1. soak gelatin into 2 tablespoons of water.
2. Pour milk into a pot and heat with low flame

3. Pour Houji-cha tea and suger into warmed milk

4. Let tea steep 3-5 minutes depending on desired strength (keep very low flame)

5. Remove from heat and use a strainer to take tea leaves out

6. Microwave the gelatin for 10 second

7. Pour a heavy cream and gelatin into the bowl and stir together with the flavored milk well

8. Cool the ramekins uncovered at room temperature, when cool, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for about 1 1/2 Hr !

This keeps well for several days in the refrigerator.
Enjoy your delicious Japanese style Panna Cotta^^/

TOKYO SKY TREE and ASAKUSA

Location

Located about 1km east of Asakusa - a town filled with the atmosphere of a shitamachi (the traditional name for the area of Tokyo that extends from Taito, Chiyoda and Chuo Wards east of the Sumida River where many merchants, craftsmen, etc. reside) - and about 2km northeast of Ryogoku - a town famous for sumo wrestling.

The new tower stands in a major traditional international tourism zone of Japan.

Japanese Style Crepe ~ KC's Crepes Cafe

My favorite Japanese sweets, "hand rolled cone style crepe", in LA!

"whipped cream, cornflake, caramel sauce, and Vanilla Ice cream"

They located very close to LAX International airport.
Each one of their 50 or more selections of flavor is amazingly delicious! It always makes me satisfied and happy. Also, you have a choice of building up your own crepes, too!!
I always enjoy their hot salad crepe and sweet crepe together with boba drink for my desert!
My favorite one is "spinach mushroom-made with white creamy sauce", "Ham Melt with egg", and "Caramel Vanilla Crunchy" ect... Actually, I have too many flavors which I love.
Price range is $5-10 per person. Very casual and friendly place, and it's always nice to be there for having chat with your friends. Just do not forget to bring your CASH, since they do not accept credit card payment.
